The problem
Inspection notes are captured on paper, typed up later and difficult to track. Results vary between inspectors, reports take time to produce and there is no easy way to spot trends or follow up on actions.
What was built
A mobile-friendly form app that guides inspectors through structured checklists, captures findings with photos and notes, and generates consistent PDF reports. Status tracking shows which inspections are complete, which need review and what actions are outstanding.
Production considerations
Offline use for field teams, secure evidence storage, approval workflows and integration with existing record-keeping systems need to be addressed for production deployment.
