How it works

We start with the work problem, not the technology.

WorkFlint helps you identify one repeated, manual or messy process, turn it into a clear build brief, create a working tool, then test, document and support it properly.

The FLINT Method

A simple, repeatable approach to turning messy work into practical tools without pretending prototypes are production-ready.

Step

F. Find the work problem

Identify the painful, repeated or manual process worth fixing. This could be monthly reporting, inspection notes, onboarding trackers, customer enquiries, approval workflows, quote calculations, policy drafting or document reviews. The best first problems are visible, bounded and have a clear owner.

Step

L. Lay out the process

Map the users, steps, data, approvals, edge cases and desired outcome. Understand what starts the work, what information is needed, who touches it and what happens at the end. A one-page process sketch is usually enough to start.

Step

I. Instruct the AI

Create a structured brief or prompt for the right AI-assisted build tool. Describe the problem, the users, the data, the workflow and the desired outcome. A clear brief produces better results than a vague instruction.

Step

N. Nail the build

Build the app, dashboard, form, report, automation, website or workflow. Review outputs against the brief, test key paths and refine the flow. Keep the first version focused on the core need.

Step

T. Test, train and transition

Review outputs against real scenarios, document what was built, train the people who will use it and prepare for production or support. A working first version is useful. A tested, documented and supported tool is better.
