The problem
A global consultancy environment needed consistent, governed workspace provisioning across Microsoft 365. Without automation, each project team created SharePoint sites, Teams channels and security groups manually, leading to inconsistent permissions, orphaned workspaces and governance gaps.
What was designed
Governed workspace automation patterns covering SharePoint project site provisioning, Teams channel creation, Entra ID security group management, permission models, project workspace lifecycle policies and operational reporting. The design included error handling, governance controls and structured project workspace lifecycle management.
